I kind of relate to her. Not everyone can be bold and daring all the time… People have called me stupid because I was similar to her. Her main issue is that she has trust issues, and people around her have made her more confused and insecure, which causes her to be more cautious “regular” people wouldn’t be cautious about. I have a lot of empathy for characters like this despite what they do sometimes.

Girl is overly suspicious about every little things yet too dumb to figure them out on her own. It almost feels like she enjoys putting herself in uncomfortable situations. Same pattern: Daniel comes say BS, she tiptoes into believing him, she doubts, the Duke inquires and confirms that the hearsay is half true, she is relieved, Daniel appears. And the cycle repeats. GIRL, WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN CURIOUS ABOUT HIS SHADY BUSINESS? Nobles are not saints, you should know better given your father's character. He treats you well and right. He is loyal and a simp. Lady, just stop stressing yourself or grow some balls. YOLO.

FL acknowledged that ignorance would have been blissful. Anyway, she grew some balls and is braining. Good for her. I feel like she will somehow still end with the ML, because I've read plenty of stories like this one. Now, let's see.
