God forbid someone has an actual life outside of reading smut with stories. If I watch an episode of a series that I haven’t watch in awhile and I get confused on one snippet. I can ask someone a question to refresh my memory. I’m not going to rewatch an entire series just for a question someone can answer in a millisecond? Or better yet, bond with other people?
