finished it… something that left me dissatisfied was how little mc reacted to his father hitting ml on the head and leaving him to bleed out on the ground. like?? what is not clicking here?? if ml was a human he would’ve DIED, that old geezer should be in JAIL. is this how someone traumatised reacts and deals with things?? i may not be the most familiar with these topics but i can’t understand if this is really how people deal with family trauma or the author just has a very happy family so that’s their view of the world. i just can’t understand any of it. i actually feel bad for ml i feel like his feelings are tossed aside too often, as much as he was unlikeable before, if mc really claims to like him that much, i just can’t understand the indifference he often shows ml. overall i really liked the story, the premise was good but some things could’ve been executed better but if it wasn’t good i wouldn’t be this affected lol.
i’m at ch.38 and mc is really pissing me off. i don’t understand it, does he not see how manipulating and cunning his father is?? he doesn’t seem stupid or impaired so i don’t understand why’d he let him stay. guess i’m not traumatised enough to understand.
