I keep waiting for the moment they'll do a major timeskip. And I mean he's 18+, not 14 or 15. Mostly because the romance is ... weird. Which is sad bc i like his chemistry and dynamic of both being powerful mages, her being calm and soothing, something he desperately wants.
&& I'm glad he was given an older love interest, an elf. But I wish it was someone he met, even briefly as a teacher, and then didn't see again until he was older (body wise). Would have been weird it was his teacher but she's an elf and he's a twice grown adult man so it checks out.
Her stating she can "sense" an adult man in him DOES NOT help. Like I can see what they were trying to go for, her understanding he's not actually a child, but that seemed even creepier to me.
