I miss the old mangago

Real discussions died since 2024, all comments are now copypaste jokes, no one actually talks about the characters or the plot, it's reminding me of how in letterboxd the top comments would be about lusting over some actor, while actually reviews are pushed down, I don't recall the last time I checked a comment section and actually read about someone giving their opinion on the story without someone getting butthurt, + comprehension skills is something many lacks here, this is why I'm not active in the community no more, just reads for an hour and log off.

Also I suspect that there's alot of arguing on here (besides the tiktok minors) is because of how ass the blocking system is, ppl can't block a user fully, therefore they will likely keep interacting with arguments with that person cus they can't block them, and the moderation sucks ass the site is basically a free one, i have learned from others that you can literally say stuff, get banned then make another account and that automatically works? This is why this site suffers from alot of trolls here.

It have always been like this loll except for the facts it became way more worse after btt downfall. Most of the users on that site is a minor and now they start to come here which is.. Yeah

That moral policing one, tbh it depends. If its some lowkey pedophilic stuff, I'd have that. And if it's that one, you really can't compare it to using an illegal manga site. There are degrees to patheticness and enjoying a character clearly presented as a kid getting sexualized is defo not the same as reading pirated comics
