Well.. depends ig, think of it as a real life end, where every living being eventually dies, but in this story it's atleast dying after a happy enough life with an own loving family
Since this has fantasy element, there are two side stories. One where Millian time travels to right after their engagement and goes to Leopold household to take Karina. And the second one is them reincarnated in the Modern world, where the ML has his memories of this timeline.
