Perhaps it's just Chapter 19? I'm unsure how many seasons this story will have, but the world is slowly expanding, allowing us to build more compassion for its characters. Have a little more patience and trust the writer; their previous story was also excellent. This one is more complex so it needs more time to tell its story. Otherwise, you can always stop reading and pick it up again when it's complete.
