The story was alright at first, but when the alpha "snapped," it just frustrated me.

The omega did a good job getting himself and the baby out of there for a bit.
But why no communication with your husband when they're calling for hours?
The alpha showed he wanted to be a good dad and partner many times.
His insecurity was the main reason for the situation.

Not that what he did was right, and he should face the consequences.
But the omega always seemed really arrogant and just saw the alpha as help around the house and a sperm donor. He only agreed to sleep with him because the doctor and his mom told him to. Then the baby's born, and the alpha is totally ignored. Only the omega's family's staff can take care of the baby. He even has to prove himself before they go home. He's left alone at home and has to tell his best friend about the baby stuff and how he feels.

And then the omega wants to start modeling again. The alpha's worried about that and tries to talk to him, but then the omega decides to hide it and does the shoot in secret. He also wants to hide his film role and wants to watch his co-stars film when he gets home, which makes the alpha happy because the omega usually doesn't care.

The alpha finds out about the ad because he sees it, and that's what sets off the situation where the alpha wants to force the bonding (which is really not okay and feels so out of character).

The omega runs away with the baby (good for them) and meets the alpha's best friend. The omega doesn't remember this guy but just trusts him and follows him. He learns it's his husband's best friend, but because he didn't care about the alpha at first, he didn't even know the friend was at their wedding. They click in just one night, and he immediately sees him as a friend and even trusts him with his child when he starts filming the movie/show?? He's at least nice enough to text the alpha that he's safe.

The alpha's best friend also kind of turns his back on the alpha, but he's the one who knows the alpha's situation and doesn't even try to at least let the omega and alpha talk in a safe place.

Then there's a situation with the co-actor who, after talking with the omega, thinks the alpha is one of those typical alpha types who try to control their omegas. The omega notices that the co-actor misunderstands the situation but then doesn't explain it properly, which makes the co-actor think he needs to help him and take matters into his own hands. This ultimately leads to the alpha being kicked out of the shooting location by security and into the bushes when he shows up.

Meanwhile, the baby is with the alpha's "best" friend, but of course, he's crying because he's with someone he doesn't know.

So, the Omega and Alpha finally meet, but security tries to kick him out again. Then the Omega finally says they're family. After what to me felt like a quick chat, they're back together.
Everyone's at the first birthday party, even the co-actor? He says sorry to the alpha with a cheap gift, and then it's over.

To me it feels like the alpha got totally shafted character-wise. Usually, I'm cool with these kinds of stories, but this one really bugged me.

I think that the official name (borderline) is describing Mokyeon's mental health. It would explain his behavior.

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a mental health condition characterized by severe instability in emotions, relationships, self-image, and behavior. People with BPD often experience intense mood swings, struggle with a chronic fear of abandonment, and engage in impulsive or self-damaging actions.

Extreme fears of abandonment: Going to frantic lengths to prevent separation or rejection.
Unstable relationships: Cycling between idealizing others and suddenly devaluing them.
Fluctuating self-image: Sudden and frequent changes in goals, values, and self-esteem.
Impulsive behaviors: Acting out in potentially self-damaging ways like reckless driving, binge eating, or reckless spending.
Self-injury or suicidal behavior: Engaging in self-mutilation or making suicidal threats.
Emotional instability: Intense episodic feelings of anxiety, irritability, or sadness that last from a few hours to a few days.Chronic feelings of emptiness: A persistent sense of having no purpose or feeling bored.
Intense anger: Difficulty controlling anger or experiencing extreme, inappropriate rage.
Dissociation or paranoia: Stress-induced, fleeting feelings of being detached from oneself or suspicious of others' motives.

Would you like to describe why mokyeon likes Nanjo ? Cuz other than the fact Nanjo looks good , I don't see any other likeable qualities . What do you think Mokyeon sees in him ? To be soo obsessed?

    Steefjenie July 20, 2026 11:03 am

I wouldn't know, perhaps it's because Nanjo is so attentive and caring towards Sunhwa. It seems that deep down, Makyeon desires to be loved and chosen by someone. However, we must not forget that Makyeon also manipulated Nanjoo and made him make choices he didn't want. So Makyeon himself is not a saint either. Every individual, after all, possesses both strengths and weaknesses. All 3 are flawed, and we have only seen things through Makyeon's point of view, which, of course, is very distorted.

I'm trying to find a BL story I read before, but I forgot the name and lost my list when the site had issues. What I remember is it's about a rich, rebellious guy. I'm not sure if the other guy was his friend or the son of his parents' friends who passed away. The rich guy's dad always favored this "friend," was super proud of him, and not his own son. He always talked about adopting him, but the "friend" didn't want that because I think he liked the rich guy. Now it's more serious, the dad wants to adopt him so he can take over the business, but the biological son doesn't want that. So now the rich son is trying to get into a sexual relationship with the non-rich "friend." I hope that makes sense and someone can help me out!
