Agreed. He's being very unreasonable and he's being so selfish and isn't even caring if he hurt JH. Be hasn't changed not is has he let up only until after he finds out JH is leaving.
I think you're missing garam's point. He knows jaehyuk will do anything and sacrifice anything for him but that's exactly what he fears cause he doesn't wanna jaehyuk to lose anything because of him like his rep and relationship with his parents because he's been through the same thing. And although it came from a place of care, he still went about it the wrong way and caused the fight. But he's not entirely to blame. Both garam and jaehyuk were both acting on their own without properly communicating and opening up to each other that even their solution to the problem is just to leave each other alone which clearly neither of them want.
I agree that garam was unreasonable and selfish at times, but you have to understand the nuance of his character. He cares about jaehyuk which is why he decided to put his foot down despite hurting him cause he still carries the same trauma of losing people he cares about and doesn't want jaehyuk to endure that by being with him. jaehyuk has also been unreasonable in his actions and they both believe they're doing it for the benefit of the other person. The reason he's changed is because he's had time to actually think things through without jaehyuk and realize he still misses him and wants to be with him despite his own fears for the two of them.
