my rant from a while back got deleted after the wipe that happened last year, but I won't forget this slop. Just know I think the author is legitimately dull and if you find it difficult or impossible to write about the after effects of a violent rape and the toll it will have on a person, don't write the rape at all. You don't get to write something that vile and tragic and then jump back into a sweet, healthy romance with no time or insight at all. I'm not asking for a redemption arc or a split or death. Just please stop being a lazy writer.
