I think,
1. He likes to get a reaction of jinwoo so he just does everything to “irritate him”

And 2. That way he also helps jinwoo think about something else and doesn’t worry about a thing (cause he gonna be busy arguing with taeyoung lol)

But there is risk though that jinwoo might think that tae is never taking anything seriously so i hope they don’t have big fight in the future..
