Idc idc idc this is a masterpiece. Am I trippin? Yes. But am I real? Also yes. No matter what anyone else says, I have not seen another work that gruesomely shows the representation of sexual trauma. It’s not only that. Airis mother, how she felt, how she felt towards her rapist, how she even felt towards the kidnapper. And it’s not only her but even other characters in the work. I know it sets people off with the themes and shit but idccc oh my gosh I’ve never seen such beautiful work like this ever. Airis mother ignoring her cry for help, how Airi tried so hard to get her mother to help her, how the abuse affected her, how she felt when she met the new ”normal” good guy, and seeing how her husbands family treats each other and how it looked so perfect and warm and kind. Which was something Airi looked at and felt out of place. Then Airi having to act normal and even take a family picture with her rapist, IN HER WEDDING. And her being scared to tell the truth because when she tried, nobody was there for her. Airi finding comfort on someone that shared the same trauma as her and couldn’t let it go. It’s so written well yall don’t get it omg. Even the kidnapper bro. It’s like a coin of two sides of how you can end up as when you experience REPEATEDLY SEXUAL VIOLENCE and trauma. I love this work and I hope author can deliver us an ending. I cried lol cuz I just felt so bad for Airi and couldn’t help but relate. While some people will dislike how the new guy came out, I actually think this was such a good thing for Airi. I don’t know what direction author will take after 39 chapter because it’s on hiatus but I actually hope Airi will be happy and even the kidnapper.. but like his karma is for getting his legs chopped off and arms lol I honestly think death is mercy for him. A befitting ending would be him dying knowing he was genuinely loved by Airi. It’s so Sad, seeing his younger self (he might have DID, dissociate identity disorder) trying to help Airi and tell her to trust her husband. While.. well his adult self maybe can’t be saved even though Airi wants him to be. Idk abt yall but Airi and that kidnapper relationship is not only sexual, it’s more than that. Two very hurt souls trying to help each other/ bonding. The fact that Airi went through all this and still found people that in the end supported her and found someone that loved her makes me so happy. I just don’t know what author will do with the kidnapper.
