also i cant seem to wrap my mind around why yeowoon was mad at glenn after they were exposed?? he knew what he was getting into, filming porn in the first place, he said it himself!! it was his own choice! he saw himself getting recognized in public even when he filmed just two videos, it's not exactly like a private thing exactly that he filmed either. technically ANYONE could stumble upon his porn videos by chance and seen that side of him, a friend of his (like yu did), a colleague (derek or ash couldve easily accidentally seen it) being discovered was one of the risks of taking up these jobs for money, he acknowledged it well, if his boss had stumbled upon the videos by chance he might've met the same fate.. so why get angry that he lost his job and everything?? glenn was suffering too, with the media coverage and his personal life constantly being exposed and dug into on the news, no?? he said he knew what he was getting into, dating glenn, so why blame him and say he deserved Everything?
I think the same way Chang hates him (MC) bc of his messed up feeling he has for MC. Even tho it's not reasonable. MC has similar feelings when he was exposed and instead of dealing with it he decided to blame it all on ML and say harsh hurtful things.
I agree with you that it's stupid. It's like feeling betrayed when you get caught by an opposite mafia (B) but you're dating mafia (A). You kinda agree to this possibility when you start dating mafia, dude. you can't get mad at said mafia.
the success of the video led to bigger potential profits and ed was not involved with deciding if the video should be released/pushed to a wider audience. I think that’s the part people seem to miss and then don’t understand why Ed is mad since he knew he was going to be visible in a corn and got paid for it. It was something unexpected that led to him suffering more and McQueen profiting more which could make him feel like he was being exploited
i can't tell how i feel about this after finally reading it but i loved how raw and realistic some aspects of this are, with how ugly everyone gets and how flawed every main character was, it was refreshing! im just a little confused on how their feelings for eo developed cuz that part felt rushed idk T_T why was yeowoon suddenly all bothered by glenn without a proper encounter yet and how did he fall in love so fast? same goes for glenn esp when u consider his past dating experiences and his personality/ideals. all we got was like 3 brief encounters w some tension before there was a hint of feelings being developed already.. but pretty nice read otherwise!! i seriously like how raw this was, just wish the rape thing was addressed better
