ngl, you kinda right on that. Reminds me of a movie where it was a cancer or terminally ill patient young woman trying to get some romance with a dude she asked as a last wish before she dies. yadayadayada, audience= sad, story= lowkey easy avenue to convey sadness for the characters.
usually i don't get that sad over it but this one was kinda out of left field for a BL story, considering how green flag and cheerful daiki is i didn't expect him to actually have such a sad plot (or a backstory at all) i was literally thinking i want to see him in a side couple then they suddenly show his dying fiancée and that he'll not have a happy ending lmao
