Yeah, that about sums up my reaction to the first part. I’d never expect a twist like that. I already knew about the last part though. I’ll have to sit and think on that information.
That’s actually a pretty interesting plot line
Yeah you'd think that but it pretty much breaks up the whole plot line they set up from the start. Feels unnatural, like they did a whole 180 cuz they felt like it. It kinda lost its charm, made the world more... Artificial and boring, despite the world building actually being decent. Idk, you just have to read the novel to find out.
I get that so much !! You felt the exact same I did, I am trying to get used to it and forcing myself to like it but it just doesn’t give the og grand fantasy feel I really liked from this work at the beginning. It’s a shame.

Arguably the best arc in the whole novel, can't wait for more of Kalamaf. After this it's just a downward spiral, hope they change the plot huhu cuz i am not liking the novel rn.
