The amount of hate this manhwa is getting and the hate towards eachother is sad. And for what? for something ridiculous that happened in specific chapters, (which by the way that happens in all manhwa/mangas out there) If you don’t want explicit/sexual content that has rape, sexual harassment etc then go read shounen ai.

And don’t come at me with “ i can still state my opinion or i want to read it because of one character or want to see how it ends.”

First of all, you KNOW how it’s gonna end. Suah and juhyeok is gonna end up together. So acting like you want some different or better ending, that’s on you for being delusional, literally look at the cover again.

2. you read it for one specific character that you love while hate the other characters, that’s fine, but you can’t just hate on others when they like those characters or defending them. If you think you have the right to say your opinion then others can too without getting any hate or putting words on their mouths.

In the end of the day what we reading is yaoi. Yaoi is different, it has more explicit and sexual content such as rape, rough sex, sexual harassment, bdsm etc, basically same as gay porn. And you can’t argue how porn “should be”.

If you can’t handle suah’s behaviour because what he did to juhyeok then maybe yaoi overall is not for you.

I don't mind if the story involves rape, sexual harassment, etc., but at the very least, I expect it to address those issues. Even *Roses and Champagne*—which portrays the MC as a misunderstood soul, even after he shot and raped the ML—acknowledges that his actions were wrong and attributes the behavior to his childhood (or lack of one); but here, the story simply wants me to move on as if nothing happened.

Just because a trope is overused in manhwa doesn't make it valid to look past it. What you call 'ridiculous' is portrayal of an actual experience that people unfortunately go through and causes long lasting trauma and pain. It is valid for people to disagree and even hate that here, the character is literally just treated as if they didn't do anything wrong. This is not me seeing that this manhwa is worse than ones like jinx and roses and champagne, but I'm saying that even in THOSE manhwas, they acknowledge that what the ml did is terrible and it is something to be ashamed of doing. (Though caesar doesn't really acknowledge that as much as JK did because he had a very terrible childhood with no good parental figure), and like those mls also proven to have a really bad past, su ah had no reason to turn out that way, he was born in a family with stable income, his dad was good (based in what we know), and he has a good relationship with the mc for most of it

I'm not saying you're defending him though from your 2nd point you seem to be...but I'm saying that you are frankly a very surface levelled person and you unfortunately expect people to have the same view as yours when it comes to dark topics like that. Freedom of speech does exist, but there's a point where it has to be stopped and you should know that, people defending a rapist, stalker, and he literally almost made the mc borderline depend on him and him alone for his pheromones. Most of those defenders are teenagers or young adults that are still finding their footing in the world and it's understandable that they get attached to this stuff or these characters if they find them appealing, but you should NOT be encouraging that behavior by any means, these people should be able to acknowledge that YES this character is awful but I like him for different reasons and I condone what he did (which is a mentality this fandom LACKS.)

And finally, even if you say that yaoi is a broader category closer to actual porn, it is still not right to accept non-con as part of it. Explicit / sexual content ≠ rape / SA, I genuinely dont know what environment you grew in and I promise this is not meant as an insult, but healthy relationships can feature rough and AMAZING explicit sex scenes, and there's many examples of yaoi / smut manhwas that prove that. So no, adding rape or SA into the story does not improve its quality or ability to showcase eroticism in any way, BDSM is a different story as it is mostly agreed upon by both parties.

It really doesn't help that the author originally kind of promoted this as a healthy and green flag manhwa with all the PA and teasers for their childhood lol. All the fans were excepting something sweet like 'our sunny days' and we're shocked with the ml being a huge stalker and pain in the ass, as well as systemic isolator and now a rapist added to that, you can't expect a positive reaction, I myself am very disappointed.

Ain’t shit sad abt it. It’s not rlly that deep. I like the story but idgaf wat ppl like and don’t like lmao I like every comment even if I like the character

so we're normalizing rape now???? cause in no work should this be normalized, especially at the present moment in which people are suffering this now I thought that when the omega confronted the alpha about it, the author would do her job of bringing up the issue in the story, but honestly, you can't expect that anymore these days. especially when ignorant readers normalize it.

    Nic June 23, 2026 11:20 pm

No, how about we stop normalizing rape u weirdo. Especially when it's not even used as part of the plot. It was just downright unnecessary

Thats on you people if you feel disappointed that suah is not a green flag. He never was but you all saw him like that, also people should know the deretypes if you knew his behaviour wouldn’t be as shocking. Also i’m only talking about fanfiction now not real life experiences but if we are gonna go that way, i have actually seen people comments on other manhwa that i read that they did go through something as rape and sa and still chose to read a manhwa with those types of contents. That tells me that they either actually moved on or can seperate between fiction and reality which is not happening here in this comment section. Me myself been stalked when young and still can read about stalking without crying about it. And yes yaoi have all those sensetive topics, and some authors sadly adress it for example as shounen ai but have still overly sexual contents or the opposite but thats on the author. Also for not adressing it.

So i still stand with my point that people should now more about the words, tags, personality types etc to understand

Yes it should be adressed if the manhwa or manga includes sensetive topics/contents. Most of them do, this one, i don’t know maybe author is thinking differently. ?

Good for you. But the sad thing is that you clearly cant state your opinion in here like in other manhwas and they are even worse than this but still everyone is respectful and actually meaningful discussions not arguments like this. This manhwa have become a manhwa for children i feel..

It really is not on the people if it was literally getting promoted as a green flag manhwa through teaser art lol. You hold the fish to the cat and you get confused when the its pissed that the fish was fake? Did you expect people to be "oh the ml is actually a fucking weirdo!? EVEN BETTER!!" this is just what you delude yourself into thinking to justify such acts.

Also I'm not saying this to gloss over these people's opinions or refuse to acknowledge it, but if you are old enough to have grown a frontal lobe you'd realize that a specific response from a few individual in a HUGE group does not by any means, again, justify including non con in stories. You'd be unpleasantly surprised by the amount of people who CAN'T separate between reality and fiction and you can't possibly think that people just 'move on' from shit like this, it's quite insensitive.

Don't get me wrong I agree with you on your last sentence, but this story really doesn't have that shit lol. The yaoi tag as we said before is vet broad and there's no way people can differentiate between a manhwa that contains dark themes like jinx or roses and champagne or manhwas like our sunny days. And this is the website's fault for not acknowledging the need for more specific tags. And it is valid for viewers to criticize or hate a scene like this that quite literally does not have anything to do with plot in the slightest

With all the downvotes it showing that most of you actually don’t want to or can’t understand the point of my comment.

Whatever. Not gonna Argue with some children.
