exactly. why can people tolerate hetslop and yaoislop but we cant have ANY yurislop like yuri doesnt have to be perfect and pure and not kinky. why are so many yuri fans puritans i hate it here
There is a difference between yurislop (I have seen a LOT of yuri slop and sometimes indulge in it) and a yuri CLEARLY created for the male gaze.
What are you even talking about it's so hard to find good Yuri. All of it is slop and most of it is centered around the male gaze. Or Yuri is just between two kids like who's reading that bs. I think people are allowed to get irritated at Yuri slop that obviously made by a man who doesn't understand yuri/lesbian relationships or even women outside of a sexual fantasy. It's annoying and icky and atleast it's easier to find gems in bl or just straight work that actually makes you feel something outside of disgust that your entire sexuallity is either overly sexuallized by man. Or is used as an excuse for weirdos to make child porn.
And this is how i know you don't actually read any GL and don't even try to, its the most lame excuse used by people who aren't interested in reading yuri in the first place. A bunch of the most famous BL are slop and their fans eat them up every time like their garbage is some masterpiece
One thing i've noticed is how judgmental the GL/Yuri space is, and now it makes sense to me that a lot of GL works get abandoned or canceled, i wouldn't use this manhwa as an example per se but this isn't the first time i see a bad manhwa getting bombed in reviews, like for some reason Yuri works are expected to ALWAYS be masterpieces, only straight and gay manhwas are allowed to be cringe and loved it seems
