What I despise the most about this is that the author is trying to make readers pity the disgusting rapist by having him show that expression and MC acknowledge it. There is no fucking way that a guy who has been forced on that machine for god knows how long to the point lf feeling nauseous and then got violently raped, got his wounds ripped open again, and then was like "ok look at that sad expression. I'm going to choose this moment when I feel the lowest to reflect on how bad this rapist feels"
