i really hate the mc. i get that he went through a lot but the ml was always there for him and did everything he could to ensure the mc was on the same level as him. i dropped this manhwa the moment i saw that the mc literally did not care about the fact that he was basically raped and all he did was punch his assistant and said don't do it gain. like, are we being serious. the ml was out here busy looking for you bc he was worried about your safety, and even after what the secretary did tou you, he is still keeping his job. and on top of that he does not even tell the ml. i really WISH the ml can find someone better than that ungrateful piece of shit, but i know that he is going to easily forgive him and they will end up together. What really pisses me of is that the ml told the mc so many times to stay away from the secretary and he didn't listen. i really want the ml to find someone who actually deserves him and of course there is going to be a who's the daddy plot. the omega really doesn't deserve the alpha. at this point he should just end up with his secretary, i hate them both soooo much

Everyone be shitting on the MC so much but honestly I feel like he's not that bad?
Like sure we love a yearner and devoted man like hyeondo so I get why it's a bit frustrating but let's be real....he's also a dumbass lowkey (or very immature at best), a non-stop flirt (to yuhyeon), a tad pushy, and a bit like those guys who stay friends because they have an end goal of being with you even if you made it clear from the beginning that you ain't interested in relationships
Meanwhile, MC is a very stubborn, defensive, calculating, alpha-resistant, and determined character who from the start, clearly had no interest in anything except to take over the company and prove himself
So imo this story progresses pretty true to their characters maneuvering the sudden shift in their 10 yr relationship, from just family friends/rivals who helped each other spent their heat/ruts together to f**kbuddies/potential partners that are being forced to face their true feelings for each other but with a STUPID misunderstanding (MCs dad says it best in ch.23 that they really dont talk about the important stuff...)...Like the MC is literally fighting the world for every little thing and is hella jaded so it makes sense that he cant trust Hyeondo, who has been saying all this lovey-dovey stuff only to come out as a firm rival (albeit for a dumb reason)...but yea they both could definitely work on their communication....
Idk i just felt a little bad that everyone seems to bash MC one-sidedly and appears to have forgotten all the MC has to go through and his actual personality...so I felt compelled to write this rant lol
