Am I the only one who thought that the "just a humble slave" was sarcastic or am I reading this wrong?

It’s clear to me that you’re reading it wrong. If you had any sense of intelligence, you would understand a Native American man telling a white man he is his humble slave. It’s just playing all the racism from the author and what world would it be sarcastic, even if it was meant to be sarcastic, which it wasn’t it would be him trying to mock the slaves. He had just freed as native Americans often Owned black slaves as well, and they also fought amongst the confederacy to keep Black people in slavery. It blows my mind how much y’all don’t know but ignorance is very rampant.

We don’t care, we didn’t find it sarcastic or funny.

I didnt say it to be funny? I mean this is either a literal slave that just got freed by the white man or someone that came along and was mocking it . That's what I was wondering, either way both answers aren't great, don't just assume that I'm a brain dead bl lover that doesnt understand that this is a VERY questionable time period to base a bl on. Mind your tone tf
