this is so fucking weird, setting a SMUT BL in civil war america, anyone who reads this beyond the first chapter needs to log off and attend a few american history lectures tbh, this is not some fictional setting this has VERY MUCH happened and is affecting the lives of many african americans to this day and will in the future too im so mad

    That and the fact that a black character isn't even a main character is insane, what was fucking point. If you wanted a native MC with the way this author is writing might as well have been fall in love with the person moving their tribe during the Trail of Tears

    yeah i am indian and we literally had HUGE ASS CHAPTERS dedicated to n-zi germany, french and russian revolution.. not a single word about american history tho, the only reason i am sort of educated about this is because i was chronically online during the BLM movement and went on a deepdive on this matter
