I thought u were talking about alien vs predator I was so confused..
It reminds me a lot of that story because it starts something similar. The guy arrives on a planet, encounters something unknown, and is then attacked. He wakes up and finds himself with a "stranger" on said planet
Hopefully, maybe, maybe not, it'll end up like that xD
