Even world history would be enough to have someone know to be sensitive to topics involving slavery though? JAXX is a professional BL author, so we aren't talking about someone new to making plots. As a professional she should've dove deep into historical research and modern views on things such as Native and Black genocide, chattel slavery, and white saviour complex. Like could you imagine someone willing to write a story on a Japanese Emperical soldier and a comfort woman with superficial research?
