the fl is so cool, the ml is slightly useless but honestly trying his best given how CAREFUL AND EVIL THE VILLAINS ARE. honestly i reaaaaally like the villains in this story, they're actually evil AND smart AND competent, makes the stakes so much higher and the revenge arc sm more satisfying <3 i also love how winfred & ella/ayla's relationship goes, the way that they're both each other's rock
