Like yeah I would HOPE we have a problem with this shit. Not saying I'm one of the ones who's ok with the topics listed, Cause I'm NOT. But trying to switch up the topic and point at some other shit isn't helping you prove your point. If where the problem lies is within the story itself, then that means you should be trying to find your evidence from WITHIN the story itself to defend your claims. And fact is I don't think ANYTHING could make or fix this story at all. If you wanted a revenge, slave and master story theres so many other tropes out there you could've pulled from and used instead of being very real and realistic events that has caused generations of suffering. The author also obviously did her research some what on thia topic, since a few historical details are accurate, so how the hell did she not see the tragedy that was slavery? How did she ignore one of the main things that had a hand in starting the Civil War?
And then theres the weird defenders out there tryna say, "Oh but you guys romanticize mafia stories! A-and theres all the SA, toxic, weird yaois out there that you guys don't have problems with! But suddenly you have a problem with this!?
