yo believe what u want bc i don’t think ur willing to listen but i think there’s a difference between reading something and romanticizing it. u may disagree but imo romanticization is something that comes more from the consumer than the creator themselves. hence why a lot of media that isn’t put out to be romanticized gets romanticized anyways. regardless of what you believe, i personally don’t romanticize any of the more toxic stories i read and read them purely out of curiosity. moving on from that, i don’t think it’s a crazy concept for people to criticize the premise of this story?? like it’s fucking weird and while i think it’s pointless to attack people for liking it, it makes perfect sense for a story of this genre (?) to get backlash. people can like what they like but they aren’t free of criticism
