I'm mad because I'm black you fucking idiot and I'm tired of you weirdos having more empathy for racist getting hate for their own fucking action than black people that are victimized. I literally got called a nigga in these comments so no it's not a competition it's people being racist if you're mad at people hating go ahead to the official app to support the author
I have zero empathy dumbass, the author did wrong obliviously, but she's realised it was wrong and took accountability then cancelled the story, what more do you want? For her to be shot or stabbed, having death threats by people who supposedly want everyone to be treated the same?? No, there's nothing more they can do, but it's also not a game, so laughing and saying we won is pathetic and makes these people sound childish and uncaring about the racism itself.
I think it's a small victory if they made a popular creator stop, think about what they want to convey with their story and realize that's not gonna work. And instead of giving false arguments and being confrontational, like many many many other ones that gives a shit and argue with fans, just cancelled. They can do it again with better research, drop it or create something new.
But real activism and activist mostly care but the agenda doesn't stop in one topic alone and it's important that people realize it and not say 'it's just fiction'. Yeah, but real life is the inspiration for fiction and their connected. Especially in historical settings unless is clearly stated that it's very loosely based in real life events which gives them like a 'free pass'. Still, it's a good thing but I agree that some people are not very mature too.
Yes, but there are bigger that still use racial stereotypes and real life triggering issues and don't care. They get called names, finish their story, people get mad at them and say they'll never support them again, fans fight between themselves... and those same creators start a new story... and people still stan them. It's a vicious circle.
So yeah, it's a small victory if a popular creator drop it.
I like fiction as any other but I do like it if the artist is also conscious that their work is actually reaching people that care.

I saw a comment today saying 'we won' and laughing, which proves that people don't give a shit about the racism, they just wanted to argue.
