I've never read the story except for the newest chapter but this is so sad to see the mc acting like this it's like he's lost his sense of self. It's just weird for a story like this to be made. Gay men get such weird rep and characters in these bl stories. Some stories like Passion can pull it off but it's whatever I just wanted to share what It thought about this not tryna argue today. But I'm not saying it's bad to read this...
Edit: I just wanted to add that Yaz and smutgoddess are annoying insufferable hoe ass bitches that have nothing better to do.
Well, the point of the torture is to make the MC submissive to Jooyeon, which took some time and does indeed leave us all with a bitter aftertaste. But broski, if you’re looking for 'representation' in a manhwa that’s obviously about sadism and, to some extent, psychological horror, you’re not going to find it XD It's like looking for romance in Killing Stalking
Mind you, they didn’t even try to argue with what you said at all. They full on agreed with you but all it took to have steam coming out of your ears was “maybe don’t look for gay representation in misery porn”. If you want to spout your opinions into the void without having people interact (not even argue) then get a fucking diary.
Yeah. I read both wholesome stories and darker, more challenging ones, so I completely understand why someone new to the doomed side might feel uncomfortable, like they said. That reaction is valid. But I don't understand when people expect these darker works to meet the same standards of morality or healthy queer representation that we look for in fluff or lighter/mature stories. If a work is tagged with psychological, horror, or drama, those tags are there for a reason—to signify that the story is exploring toxic, or graphic themes.
And is now used normally, so saying it is does not automatically make you misogynistic? Same as Fujoshi and Fudanshi which literally translate to "rotten girl," and "rotten boy." Does that mean anybody using the terms to describe someone automatically make them homophobic?
If you're not satisfied with this example because it was never a slur, just a deragatory term, then is me calling another black person a nigga me being racist? Obviously not? So why is a woman calling another woman a bitch considered misogynistic? If you call anything misogynistic, you take away the value from the word. btw!
“It's just weird that a story like this was written. Gay men get such weird reputations and characterizations in these BL stories.” You said that yourself, and I just pointed out that it doesn't even make sense to look for representation here. Besides, if the replies bother you so much, why are you commenting in the first place? Are you okay? XD
Are you okay. Because no where in that sentence implies that I was looking for rep ALL I said was that it was weird that something like this even exists at all if you actually read my comment I said it was weird in general for stories like this to be made about an oppressed minority. Yaz just because because I fucking comment something doesn't mean I need 4 bitches in the replies missing the point or going completely off topic (lovelybonnie). And the replies bother me because y'all are having a who can be more stupid and miss the point of my comment the best competition. News flash girl you blew everyone out the race. You want a medal to. (You seriously didn't need to comment at all bruh)
It's a short one so basically the uke is the top he's big and blonde and he's been in love with the black hair seme for years and now he finds out he's about to get married so at a bar I think he asks his friend if they can have sex or whatever and he says yes they fuck and stuff and it turns out they already talked about liking each other but the uke just filtered out and only heard the marrying some else part so they get together and happy ending. It's a crybaby top x serious bottom type of thing. Idk if the seme played basketball or not
You guys should read Occult Scans translations they don't use ai like the others and is better quality.
