So….they tricked the lunas into helping them create a mugo curse. And instead of upholding their end of the deal, they continue to exploit the lunas but with extra because they use Muhan to grant their fortunes. They used Jaheon’s r@pe as an excuse to kidnap, keep muhan there, and get the lunas to help them create a Mugo curse. They are not actually mad at what happened to jaheon but at the fact that they lost a big customer because they no longer wanted to keep him after the incident and they survived off of Jaheon the most. I believe at the beginning of the story, there was a memory that barely surfaced that had someone nealing next to a giant jar and was telling it that it was a god and it should destroy the family for being greedy or something like that. Idk it’s been awhile. Makes sense that it would be jaheon who finds the village and elders to be ridiculous!

Found that memory I had mentioned but it was actually a dream that Jaheon had. It’s in chapter 9. He said: since, you’re already in there, why not make the people that did this to you pay.

It was actually a dream that jaheon had about nealing in front of that jar. He said: since you’re already there, why not make the people that did this to you pay. Then it appeared he was beaten to death. This is in chapter 9.
