This manhwa was clearly (unintentionally or intentionally) going to the ‘white savior’ trope with poor representation. The author herself admitted that she focused more on the characters then the setting itself and created an ignorant piece. Instead of defending this and complaing about not having enough people attacking other manhwas with rape in it, why not you do what your asking for instead of down-playing one thing and emphasizing the other or waiting for others to make the first move. If you have problem with such manhwas then be the voice, sooner or later many others will join you to it, thats how canceling happens.

You said it yourself. There are 5000 other manhwas that are worth the read so why be bothered for this one? Yes, it is disappointing that a manhwa newly released by JAXX is canceled but let's just be sensitive for the community that might get hurt by this manhwa, that touches a very sensitive history of their culture/race. If you have been in the BL community for years then you should know by now that there are readers that ends up romanticizing themes that aren't supposed to be romanticized.
As for the abuse and sexual assault argument, this topic has been talked about for so many years already. Some victims have spoken that they use these kind of media to cope with what happend with them while some hates it because it ends up becoming romanticized. Now, using that argument, imagine if this manhwa pushed through. Do you think it will be safe from the kind of readers that romanticizes everything? Yes, there are already a bunch of manhwas/mangas out there with master/slave themes but this one? It touches a history that is connected to a race that is constantly being subjected to discrimination, stereotypes, etc. Let's just be sensitive, okay? I am disappointed because it got cancelled after a preview chapter! Like I said, we could wait and see how the situation resolved. Jaxx said that they did not want to pursue the topic and that it wasnt their intention to hurt anyone. It was an honest mistake and not enough knowledge on the topic. I am not knowledgeable in Korean history either but i still do read manhwas about this topic. Does it make me racist? No.
We genuinely had something FRESH. A new theme and it could have been something that would turn into a big hit like walk on water and UTGL. In my opinion a single apology and a small change in a panel would be enough to clear the whole misunderstanding but instead people are threatening AUTHOR and wishing them death. That is not okay. Nobody deserves this and i am honestly disgusted with people that do that (i just got called neo nazi for being slavic and that is racist against me too :)). I am very sorry for people of ANY race because all of our ancestors were slaves one day. Its not concerning only black people, it was and still is a problem for a lot of countries. I just wish it all was resolved differently than whatever just happened concerning this manhwa.
I genuinely do not understand why are people so pressed over this manhwa. People cry about lack of diversity, predictable plot or no plot at all and then we got two interesting characters with fairly new background in BL and first thing people do is complain. Yall got 500000 different manhwas to read and chose to complain about SOMETHING NEW. Instead of waiting for at least 5-10 chapters to cancel it if it turned shit first thing you do is complain. Author themselves said it wasnt their intention to pursue the “master/slave” plot and we would be able to see it ourselves but it had to get cancelled less than 24h after dropping the PREVIEW. I dont see people cancelling BWAT for making dark skinned “savage” tops and everyone is glazing them. I dont see people cancelling manhwas with abuse and sexual assault included cause “its popular”. At this point i dont understand why CNA and R&C isnt cancelled as in my opinion its offensive to write something like this about slavic people but nobody cares since its “mainstream” (lets not forget about the stereotypical “blonde blue eyed slavic people stereotype”.
