SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY

1. The classic damsel in distress - Tell me why when the FL goes on a mission to a place she knows has monsters, she carries a cat in her hands and not her gun. And wait, it gets better. When she finally DOES get her gun, what does she do with it? We see 5 panels of her training, and 3 panels of her shooting… a lake! She shoots WATER! This leads me into point two

2. She’s a door mat. Her brother? Constantly tried to set her up with Raymond, and she goes along with it. Every. Time. I don’t know I just feel like she’s just a leaf in the wind, subject to others influence even when she’s PROVED that she can get out of it and outsmart him. Just a culmination of bad characters and needing a way to move forward this trash Ray x FL romance plot

3. The unfortunate consistency of the characters, namely Crown Prince and Kylo
God forbid, in chapters 50-63, that kylo use his brain to analyze or make assumptions that aren’t coming from the horses mouth. He’s SO insecure, and it gets to the point that after every interaction, a fourth of the ch is dedicated to showing how inferior Kylo feels. News flash, I already knew that. And the Brother, oh don’t even, he’s trying so hard to keep them together. For what? Child hood memories? It’s just so absurd in the reasoning and execution. Also, why can he dictate his sisters love life but he’s free to ask out a random side character no one cares about?

4, Random characters
Random like that that irrelevant blondie come out from no where to fawn over FL, then disappear for literally half the season, then returns to only duel Kylo. Like really? Same for Diana. She’s only mentioned here bee cause in a later ch the Crown Prince asks her out. I, for one, don’t like any of them, and did not want to know more about any of them either,

5. Lack of anything but romance. I love a good romance, but this isn’t good romance, quite frankly. She talks in the beginning about this plot she’s supposed to change, about Kylo getting killed, that’s why she asked for that ancient pendent or whatever. But guess what? It’s mentioned ONCE, when, get this, the irrelevant characters HUGO wants to join the black knights. I’m chapter 60. Why are we barely moving the plot forward at ch 60.

I read this up to ch102 and I can tell you that IT DOES NOT GET BETTER!!!

    1. It devolves into bullshit lovey-dovey dates and forced love triangle no sense.

2.The final villain is introduced and defeated in the span of like 20 chapters. And you'd think, "That's enough time for at least an introduction, backstory, confrontation, and defeat. A bit rushed- but it can be done right?" Right? Wrong!
Half of that run time is dedicated to this new bizarre trio of Raymond, Kylo and Agnes. Raymond who was a piece of shit for so long, suddenly does a 180 and sees Agnes as a human being with agency. Now Agnes (and us) have to suffer through the author's clumsy attempt at a redemption arc.

    3. A SACRIFICE STILL HAS TO BE MADE.!! They tell us that the rifts were being caused by the villain but apparently those were OTHER rifts. The REAL rifts is still open and one of the newly minted, Nickel Trio have to die to seal it. So Agnes sacrifices herself. And I can't even get into it because of like 4? chapters, 75% are dedicated to rehashing how in love with each other Kylo and Agnes are.

I envy you for missing this load of bull. I should have stopped when I first got angry
