I agree with everything you said except the part where you called it a sick wish. While it’s the absolute worst way to go about it, wishing to no longer having a reality where they are all essentially segregated into specific villages and forced to sell themselves and be surrogates to the highest bidding isn’t a sick wish. Them wanting things to change isn’t sick, what’s sick is what they’re doing to accomplish it. Even if the village elders are the main ones pushing for this, at this point we don’t know if they themselves haven’t been surrogates for years before they stopped being as fertile and became the village elders. They at least hinted they could’ve been the ML’s mother so it seems like it’s a vicious repetitive cycle and I can see why they’d be desperate to break it. Again, ABSOLUTELY SHITTIEST WAY to go about trying to get independence but not a rotten wish at it’s core after everything they have gone through.

He is not a teen anymore when this happens because they say he is in “his prime” and that he is of legal age, whatever that means in that period (⊙…⊙ )

But Jaeheon says it himself that they had a hand in perpetrating that "tradition." They told Jaeheon that is was his duty to be used as surrogate. They can't just twist their own words whenever it beenfits them. I am not denying that the lunas haven't suffered. They want to be free and they deserve to be free. Everyone deserves autonomy over themselves and their bodies. But they aren't wishing for freedom. They are wishing to have the upperhand over the sols. They want to enslave the sols like they enslaved lunas. And to do that, they are torturing a teenager who has zero involvement in their suffering.

Jaeheon was brought over to be a surrogate so I doubt it's been that long. If Muhan was 15 when he met Jaeheon and Jaeheon has given birth, then 9 months have passed. You can give or take a year because I am sure Jaeheon didn't get pregnant immediately. So Muhan is probably 16 or 17. He is supposed to go take exams soon so he can't be over than 19/20. That's still a kid in my eyes.

By raping jaeheon he does contribute to it absolutely. Bring his first rut doesn’t free him from the responsibility over his actions, this isn’t a setting where he has 0 clue about being in omegaverse, he is aware of what a rut and heat are etc. sure, there’s no suppressants really at this stage, for him to fully have control. And it was not premeditated whatsoever but regardless doesn’t excuse his actions even if it justifies them. And we see this reflected to an extent in glasses mugo who delays it as much as possible to have sex. As much as everyone may hate to admit it, it was rape. Jaeheon couldn’t consent and it’s not because up until then mugo is nice to him that it invalidates that experience. I do agree the lunas are looking for retribution instead of equality, but in their eyes all sols are the same, they’d have 0 reason to believe mugo is different. As for the whole “duty” mentality, I don’t defend them for doing that, but realistically what would be the alternative there? Have the suicide rate go through the roof by having everyone aware that they just had to be raped their entire fertile periods and that nothing would change? A white lie (that is also very pushed by Sols mind you, there is a degree of psychological trauma there as well given everything) is the only mercy they can give them in this sort of crappy reality. Better to lie to themselves that this is their “duty” than just off themselves because they don’t have enough power to change their circumstances. Again, no excuse for their actions, but given how it was hinted the older generation of lunas also was raped consistently (I’m guessing until they couldn’t give birth anymore) they’re not doing it to save their own skins by sacrificing the younger generation, so I do understand wanting revenge and retribution instead of actual equality at this point. Unfortunately, they got mugo, but let’s be real, if they had caught the uncle who raped jaeheon before, and we’re doing everything to him that they did to mugo, none of us would truly have a problem with them beating the frap out of the uncle. It sucks that mugo ended up being caught, since in comparison we know he had feelings for jaeheon (though I would argue it’s puppy love at this stage, given how young/naive mugo is) but none of us would think badly of the lunas actions if it was directed at another sol.

Kid by today’s standards and irl, even then he is still a teenager. Let’s not forget he raped Jaeheon please, and teenagers do commit crimes. Also, Jaeheon didn’t want anything to do with him at all, he was another victim (the real victim, imprisoned for breeding and then raped by a teenager), and even after being raped, he still wanted to help Muhan escape.

And that's what I am saying too. They aren't wrong to want revenge as justice. It's the fact that they chose Muhan as their victim. He lived a sheltered life and just found out what it's like to be a luna (finding out about surrogacy and why Jaeheon was brought over). He didn't even know that he might be born through rape/surrogacy (as stated by one of the omega). We can feel sympathetic towards Muhan because he is a kid. Does it excuse the rape? No. But it was his first rut and he couldn't control his instincts. Again, not justifying rape at all but just saying that what he did to Jaeheon isn't in the same league as what his uncle has been doing. I wouldn't have minded the lunas using the uncle or Muhan's dad as a sacrifice to bring aboung the Mugo curse because they are the reason lunas have been suffering for so long. But Muhan barely knew about any of this so it's easier to feel sympathy for him.

When did I say Jaeheon isn't a victim? He has been the victim in the past and even in this timeline. He has never had autonomy over himself. In the past he was used for breeding and raped. And in the present he was groomed to be a sacrifice and had no control over his future. And yes, kids can commit crimes. Kids can be rapist. And Muhan is a rapist. But this is omegaverse. That was his first rut that was triggered by Jaeheon's heat. He is a sheltered child who didn't know how to control his instincts. As the previous comment said, glasses Mugo was able to control his instincts and didn't touch Jaheon during his heat. But Muhan isn't experienced at all. I doubt he knew how to control himself since it was his first time.
