I find it funny that people are getting their panties twisted over Ian choosing TJ! If you have reading comprehension you would have realized the author was hinting at it from day one in the way Ian always found an excuse to go back to TJ, or the way he was trying to fit the things he learnt from his relationship with Jo into his and TJ’s relationship. This is a masterpiece that portrays reality, people’s emotions aren’t as simple as who’s the bad guy and who’s the good one! It’s much more complex, as TJ said Ian can’t be with Jo, he would be driven away by the fact that Jo had everything Ian wished he could have at some point! If you can’t handle the complexity or toxicity you should just go back to your mindless fluff and stop blaming the author for not accommodating to your own tastes.
