"At the time of their first meeting, Shuraka was 9 years old and Tei was 22 years old.
Currently, Shuraka is 24 and Tei is 37.

Idk what the last panel of chapter one is but as somebody that read the entire season and long awaits for many more + sides. I’ll tell you please get started and ALSO on a side note tei doesn’t do anything to him and treats sharuka as a child. TRUST ME and he doesn’t touch him [inappropriately] until they meet again when he is 24

Nope he didn’t, it was purely out of loyalty of protecting a child. Even when the met again, he always thinks that it was his obligation as his consort to serve and spend a night with him. He lowkey is in denial that he’s starting to slowly catching feelings because he always view Shuraka as a boy and not as a man.

Omg that's even worse than i thought big age gaps like that really ick me, when they meet when the younger person is a literal child.
I've read the whole thing already but I feel a little
detached from their characters for that reason, which is sad cause the drawings are gorgeous and the plot is interesting

Well they are now both consenting adults. Tei even asked Shuraka to get a new consort but Shuraka didn’t because he loves Tei so much.

Also irl there are couples who have a big age gap. For me 10-13 years are acceptable because I even know a couple which has a huge age gap like 34 years age gap. They have been married for more than a decade now and have 2 kids. They are both celebrities. People just accepted it naturally since the woman is of the right age when they started dating and got married.

My father and stepmother has 11 years age gap. I even have a grade school teacher who married her student years after that student graduated college. She said her husband was literally courting her when he was still her grade student. She thought it was just infatuation since what does a 7th grader know about falling in love. That student of her came back after graduating college and securing a job to court her for real. And me and my classmates was like, just how big is the age gap? But they are happily married so we didn’t see any problems about it.
