Really like this one, frustrated with the comments

Why are so many people talking about "the end" when it is very clearly still in publication? Like, we're barely over halfway of the plot.
I also doubt it is doomed yuri.

The whole point of introducing that book and the whole "recreation" of the fairytale is to have a point of comparison. Fairytales, through the ages, have been used as warnings : "here is what happens if you do a and b, if you do not return x favor, if you decide to go this which way".
The tale of The Monster Princess shows what happens when one is unable to overcome grief, after promising requited feelings, when faced with someone who strongly expect love should be returned if they continue to give, and give, and give, becoming obsessed with it.

And here, Aurora, Eve and even Karina's parents (in a lower capacity) are actively working against that ending. Contrary to the Monster Princess Tale, where she had truly been abandoned by her family, Karina has people actively working toward her happiness. Where no one reached out to the princess, Karina has a family extending a hand.
Karina and Reshtoka are behaving within the patterns of their fictive counterpart, but even then Karina is (aggressively) distancing herself from the "princess" comparison. And Reshtoka has, I believe, the sens and the people around her that the wolf didn't have in the fairytale.

The characters are actively and purposely trying to dodge the doomed ending for the two FMLs. So it baffles me that so many people are crying to doomed yuri. It's just heavy (not even that much tbh) angst!
I know we're all traumatized by doomed yuri, and there are so great ones out there, but let's not cry wolf and discourage possible readers.

Also I came over from mangadex cuz the comments were pmo, someone was like "oh I came for the Yuri and there's none" like not every Yuri needs to have sex fr, let a gal have a yuri with real plot and development for fucking once.

Also, maybe I'm just pissed at the reactions because if this was mlm, I am CONVINCED that it would get much more credit than it currently has.

Idk I'm just sad because, while I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, it is a great story with actual development. I don't read het stories and I haven't really come across a lot of villainess plots so maybe it only feels new to me but I like the way this manga approaches what heavy responsibilities, abandonment and abuse does to a person -a CHILD- once kind and caring. And i like that the support and care are going back to that person even once they've changed for the "worse".
