This is why I don’t rely on ratings too much. This is one of the hottest bl out there, not to mention the characters are quite unique and their narrative quite well-excecuted (the dynamics are multifaceted and could go whichever way, without sacrificing the cohesiveness of the elements). It is distinct though, so maybe a lot of people didn’t like that. But the humor is cute, the smut is hot, the artwork nothing to sneeze at, and the relationships of the characters are worth investing in. So I was still surprised that the rating was lower.
I thought of something unsatisfactory though! If a lot of the readers were like me, then maybe they didn’t like the fact that (SPOILER) Norman ended up with who he ended up with. I was really torn but ultimately I wanted Norman to end up with Minwoo. But I eventually accepted the ending because their story did get elaborated on; i.e. Norman had a past with who he ended up with. And he seriously has a soft spot for him. More than he had for Minwoo. (It’s insane because I shipped Norman and Minwoo so hard and I crashed a burned). (END OF SPOILER)
