I think the author is wrapping up the past and family storylines to focus more on the story between the gods, both the tiger and the serpent to end the season.
I don't know if Doram will have any powers now that he has a new body. At the beginning of this season, the tiger revived him by giving him a sphere; I don't know if it's because their bodies are connected or if it grants him eternal life. Will the season end with them as spouses, loving each other and on the same path, but with the threat of the serpent looming? hope so, now that we see the human form of the snake and animal form I want more!
