I never understood why people would fault the children born out of the parents' "mistake". The only reason I could guess is that the children serve as proof of their adultery, a proof they can't just dispose of. And this can work for the parent at fault, but what about the strangers? The ones that simply gossip on a family's dirty laundry and make a package of the parent and child. The child never had a choice.
