Pearl boy is genuinely so mid idk why it's so over hyped the starting was fine but wtf was that bipolar ass plot.
I dropped pearl boy initially bc I was tired of all the grape and the plot was getting nonsensical. then yesterday I saw a thread hyping it so I went back to finish (￣∇￣") sigh
I read somewhere in the comments (could be false tho) that the first season had a writer but they quit and then the rest was done only by the author. that would explain the tone shift and why some stuff never got resolution, most important thing being why tf he shoots pearls at all. it has nice art but that's it
I should've read the comments before diving first into this. both pearl boy and this... just... what is wrong with the author. people said this was better but pearl boy even had a nice first season. just... sigh... idek what to say
