No problem, I'm not even exaggerating. The author themselves added the notice that confirms this in the later novel chapters. It's still a good read though so hope you enjoy it when you do.
The author of this novel intends for Korea and Korean to be portrayed as good and the best in the story. The other countries and nations will have evil plots and opportunists with bad intentions. If you don't like seeing stories where other nations (or yours) portrayed as the bad guy, I suggest dropping this early.
