If Michael clings too tightly she's also liable to toss him aside. I enjoy Michael because his intentions are obvious but his main goal is her happiness. He goes out of his way to put her first despite his own wants and that's just so nice to see. Usually we get a tsundere or emotionally constipated ML. While I like reading about those ones, having a Michael is refreshing.
I honestly can't wait to see Michael be more selfish. We know he's capable of it (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ it'll be good for them to be more honest with each other.
Michael has potential but he keeps letting her slip through his fingers. He's already regretted once, why can't he strengthen his resolve and cling to her tighter? She's obviously sweet on him.
I get the Duke, he's probably super torn even now. And fine, Diana herself is still depressed and grieving so I’ll let her off too. The Prince is also going through a lot so he's forgivable as well.
