I was thinking the same thing actually but if you read the novel you'll understand it like much quite better, the manhwa just cut after cut and it looks like it's dragging the way too much stuff
The other one is Lee Taegyeol from The Secretive XX. And his partner Kang Muwon, is one of my favorite alpha ML trios, and he never annoyed me either. They really are the best couple. It ended after only 13 episodes, but I'm so grateful for the author because it meant there was literally no single room for unnecessary angst or a third party to get involved, which is my least favorite plot device. I really wanted to see more of the happy days of them in side stories since the main story was so short, but super unfortunately there weren't any...

Considering the process and events so far, it's utterly nonsensical for Josh to think things like, "Chase will be shocked when he finds out," "He'll end our relationship as soon as this contract ends, so there's no need to tell him," "Now isn't the time," or even, "I don't know what's making him so anxious."
Furthermore, portraying Chase as sex-crazed just to drag things out is the worst... There's no way he would interrupt Josh, who's full of secrets, to prioritize sex when he might finally hear the facts he's been desperately hoping for.
It's incredibly stupid to sacrifice the carefully developed characterizations of them just for unnecessary dragging...

Was the original novel also published as a serialized work? Is that why they're dragging it out in such an unnatural and pointless way? Did they prioritize making money so much that they ruined the characters' personalities? What a fu*kin shame...seriously
