Oh well

I don't regret buying and reading the 1st season, but this was ultimately a letdown for me personally.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good story all around, but the biological omegaverse aspect of it just doesn't interest me, even in the context of its initial emergence.

I'm dropping it, but hoping for a good continuation for all of you who are enjoying it!

I feel exactly the same, would be way more interesting for me while kept as more "real world" based thiller with some cult criminal plot and social changes of the milennium in the background. The constant sexualization of trauma also didn't help my jugement. Like nothing against anybody, just thought I have found a gem and now my dissapointment's talking.

Same as both you...... Like I appreciate the reason why author went for omegaverse specifically with this premise, it's not your typical mpreg fetish or a very surface exploration of it. And I'll argue that as part of the themes they want to touch on, blurring the lines between sexualizing trauma and using sexual coping mechanisms is intentional. The whole "forced by uncontrollable, very intense, easily-manipulated and debilitating biological functions to do xyz" is simply not something that grabs my reading attention. It doesn't even make me uncomfortable it's just completely underwhelming. Meh. Now I wonder if there are any other complex religious cult BL stories out there
