I think we all need to remember that, he seeked out someone who clearly doesn't want to be found, and when they do meet while suo wanted to leave peacefully nirei strikes bro like yea, that is emotionally driven from nirei and suo don't need to strike as hard but highkey it was deserved.
Also I don't like how some ppl always tryna minimize what Sakura felt abt this situation, the "why" of Sakura being this affected is because Sakura NEVER had any "safe space"/home that he feels he belongs to before, unlike his other peers, and when he did (the home being furin, especially with other first years) OBVIOUSLY HE'S GONNA BE THE ONE WHO FEELS IT WORST, he don't have no family to go back to, he has no one else in his corner other than furin, and when one of the pillars of his furin existence suddenly disappeared(suo) HE WILL FEEL IT.
