LMFAOAOA minyoung knew him outing cheol isnt right. its why he did it. i dont know why people are arguing validity when it was a conscious and planned choice.
the 15yr thing is really stupid to me actually. i dont like how the author framed that knowing minyoung’s personality like i agree that the “plan” is weird and feels really half assed narrative wise but #iloveevilbottoms so who gaf im all for whatever bullshit minyoung has for us
What are you saying?
They're in college not high school.
Question: would it ha e been better if the brother outed/killed him vs what Minyeon did?
I dont agree with outing him but sometimes people are so rooted in fear that they cant see beyond that. Forcing a hand is sometimes the most brutal but reasonable thing to do.
Cheol was suffocating and suffering both physically and mentally by the hands of his family. Love makes you do crazy things when the person you love is going through something you cant really do anything about so you use your last resources. Even Cheol's uncle was like wtf are you worrying about them for?
His brother hates him enough to push him from a high rise. Minyeon took away the only thing the brother held over their heads
I can see both side of the coin.
Ah I completely forgot they were in college mb.
I still think outing cheol was one of the worst decisions minyoung did even though I liked it. I understand that he needed a way to cut cheol off from his family, but choosing this specific /aspect/ feels so cruel.
I don't think I would've given minyoung so much grief if it wasn't specifically outing tbh, something about telling one of the only people you trust your deepest secret to reveal it to one of the people who has it out for you is just so git wrenching even though I know minyoung didn't do it just to be cruel.
Also tbf with cheol's uncle, cheol knew that minyoung could have (and would have if cheol hadn't said it before) killed his family, his uncle does not. Plus (the way i see it so take it with a grain of salt) I think cheol wasn't really worried if his brother would die but what would happen to minyoung if he did decide to kill him.
Either way, yes, I do see what you're trying to say. I still think it's outing cheol is one of the more crueler things minyoung has done

I don't understand why some of the comments keep raving about cheol still wanting his family to like him. Like yea, if it was me, I would've cut them off but its NOT me and I did not have the same upbringing that cheol had. BUT as someone who does live in a community where family comes first, I have literally heard and seen of situations similar to cheols (although fortunately, not as bad either) and, while some of them did cut off their parents in their adulthood, it still wasn't as easy as deciding that one day, you just move out.
Mind you cheol's in highschool during this. I really believe that, if you have the time to think about a 15 year plan, surely you could've thought of other ways to rid of cheol's family. I am still firmly in the belief that minyoung should not have outed cheol to is /EXTREMELY/ abusive father.
With all that said, I do like how ruthless minyoung is lol. I both love and hate that he outed cheol bc 1) it was cruel of him but also 2) i like me some crazy yandere hehe
