It's very relatable. That dread of time passing you by as you don't achieve the same academic level as others, as you don't get anywhere with a career or financial prospects... Shit like this is too real.
Also, body doubling in order to be able to focus is very ADHD coded ngl. Videos, podcasts or music in the background just to be able to focus better, too. It's kinda rare to see that representation in BL, I'm surprised for sure.
