The problem is that this is set in Korea. If he instigated, he would be charged for assault, no way around it. And he's a self defense teacher teaching martial arts, there's a code when it comes to these things, and he'd be betraying it if he punched him first

I did about the martial arts ethics, and tbh I find eviscerating someone verbally is best, but it’s rare to pull that off well (especially in a comic) so I was just hoping that he would at least pin seaweed head down bc he’s a bastard
No actually you're right for that, just because you can't beat the mf up doesn't mean you should verbally take it. I would have semi bluffed honestly. I'd say it's bold asf to assume I won't tell the police when I don't have to disclose SHIT about my private sex life. How would it even come up unless someone else mentioned it? This is a case about an ex being insane, stalking and committing literal crimes. Plenty of exes do that without any involvement of BDSM, I can't see how that's relevant. I have like no faith in police but a proper officer should be able to not be hung up on a victom's personal life and bedroom habits to do their damn job
Okay but …. I was really liking the fact that this sub-uke's literal profession was teaching a self-defense sport bc I thought it helped balance the ~subs/ukes aren’t always helpless little pussies~ cliche. Like subs are (typically) masochists but that doesn’t mean they can’t inflict harm themselves, they just don’t derive sexual pleasure from it.
