No seriously, I did not expect for Myeongil to be the one to try and go for the kiss first, that was so...cute! And him grabbing Jingi's face to get him to calm down and listen to him? Cute! I feel like it's as obvious as it can get (without him straight up saying it word for word) that he has feelings for Jingi, if anything the almost kiss proves that. Though this has me mildly worried to how the narrative with Heonjae will progress (still astounded as to WHY Myeongil gave him his home address??? With small children in that house????), and this chapter did not soothe my worries!
Besides that, I'm glad Jingi is being more open with Myeongil! It has really started to shift their dynamic for the better, in a way it couldn't when Heonjae was there since Jingi is so insistent on keeping his woes from him
I was on the edge of my seat watching them interact! It's interesting how fast Myeongil tries to confirm his feelings for Jingi once he thinks the latter might have feelings for him compared to how long he's dragged his feet with Heonjae. I'm still confident in my theory that Myeongil has familial/"I need to take care of you" feelings for Heonjae while he has romantic feelings for Jingi.
You can tell Jingi is trying so hard not to get emotionally attached but Myeongil keeps actively trying to close the gap. Guh I can't help but keep rooting for them.
On a separate note, it looks like the narrative is trying to position Heonjae as a "big brother" for Myeongil's siblings but idk man, dude can barely take care of himself now that he's back on the streets.

fuck it, im just gonna say it I wish Jingi and Myeongil end up together. Their feelings are obviously mutual at this point, like come onnnn
