It’s a bit complicated in the novel. What I think is that from jooyeon’s conditioning and programming jiwook stops going out on his own. I’d say they stay the same as they are now. Jiwook does go out a bit but I think it’s to walk their dog and sort of walk himself since he’s like Jooyeon’s dog at that point.
They never exactly have a ‘normal’ relationship. Their sex is as crazy and horrific as ever. Jiwook still fears Jooyeon. He just gets more freedoms in some aspects and becomes a bum

I’m desperate please answer!!! This isn’t really my cup of tea but I still have to know if the dude at the end of the novel still gets locked up or if they actually have an arguably normal relationship mental issues aside. (I already know they end up together)
