Kinda misses the point of it being a "horror" if most of the traumatic scenes are cutoff

Guys who loves dark cinderella go jump to the novel

There's aLOT of teledrama typa angst. From miscarriage, running away to mc having heavy mental disorder(who wouldn't honestly). But it's as happy as you can get. They have a short timeskip at the end, mc was finally able to get away from ml. Ml let him go cause mc IS really breaking down. Although the island he stayed in is still pretty much owned by ml. But basically no contact till mc himself reached out to ml. And that's how it ends. Mc wrote a letter to ml finally ready to face him again.

I have to say, even though this is another one of those typical toxic Omegaverse stories, I prefer the tone of this one over others of its kind. The ML remains a controlling psychopath right to the end; he doesn't undergo some massive redemption arc or a complete 180-degree character turnaround—which wouldn't make sense anyway. The MC doesn't fall in love with the ML; he simply has no other real way to escape and convinces himself it’s easier to stay with the ML because he has everything he needs there. I also found the storyline involving the miscarriage/abortion really interesting and bold. Unfortunately, most toxic stories tend to end with the ML transforming from an extremely toxic person into someone incredibly loving and caring over Night once they realize the MC is leaving . I find the characterization here a bit more realistic, even if—as you said—a lot of it could have come straight out of a teledrama.
